Technical Advice for Shot Putters
Know what MM size shot works the best for your hand size.
Throwing a smaller MM shot will diminish the distance you can put the weight,
A large hand can create more distance as the shot rolls across the hand for more power into the put.
If your hand is smaller you will need to fit it to a smaller MM.
Know what works the best fro your potential.
Also a little trick of the trade. Some shots are filled with loose lead and you can roll them and see a flop flop rolling as the loose lead inside moves around. A NELCO lead filled shot will not do this and the roll will be smooth. The secret is they heat up the lead as the shot is spinning to insure that the lead is evenly distributed one the inside fro the most accurate throw and for the longest distances. NELCO Shots and Hammers are certified accurate and marked with the hologram label to insure quality. LOOK for this label on your NELCO products without this it could just be a copy!
